"Wonderful day tour of Gêres National Park! While staying in Viana do Costelo, my husband and I did a private day tour to Gêres National Park with Descubra Minho. Agostinho, the co-owner of the company, was our guide, and he was friendly, informative and excellent company. During the tour, we saw lots, learned a lot and had an immensely enjoyable day! Furthermore, Agostinho provided a delicious picnic lunch of local products including corn bread made by his mother. We highly recommend Descubra Minho as they are well organized and provide excellent personalized tours".

"An unforgettable hike! We sign up for Walking holiday from hotel to hotel in Peneda-Gerês National Park. Agostinho was very helpful in getting my queries answered promptly. As we arrived a day before Storm Kirk, we can only start the hike from our second day itinerary. The second day route was quite flooded for us due to the storm. I slipped twice, and my hubby also sprained his ankle. As such, we decided to take 2 days off to recuperate and follow our luggage to the next hotel. Agostinho drove over to check on us and brought us to some of the viewpoints that we would see if we did the hike. He checked on us at the end of each subsequent hike using WhatsApp to ensure we could continue the rest of the itinerary. He also generously shared with us his knowledge of Peneda-Gerês National Park. His restaurant recommendations for beef steak are also spot on, especially at Soajo and Lindoso. The B&B stay at Castro Laboreiro, Soajo and Lindoso is also very memorable".

Unique experience - donkey hike in Peneda-Geres national park! I went on a 6 day donkey hike with my friend and it was a wonderful experience. The donkeys made it to our hear immediately and we had lots of adventures, fun, laughter - memories that will last! I can only recommend this to everyone who likes hiking and animals. The tour was perfectly organized by Agostinho from the beginning to the end, Agostinho was always available in case of questions and we truely saw secret spots of Portugal that are beautiful and unknown in a non-touristic area. The National Park Peneda-Geres is amazingly green, the crystal clear water lagoons everywhere gave us the oportunity to refresh after the hikes and the people in the villages were very warm-hearted and curious".
