The ride takes you to Serra D´Arga mountains, home of Iberian wolves and wild horses.

Riding through mountain villages and enjoy beautiful landscapes over Lima Valley.

The last part of the ride you ride through vineyards towards your hotel in Ponte de Lima.

Leaving Ponte de Lima you ride on the banks of Lima river to explore the Lima Valley a famous wine region – Vinho Verde Wine Region.

On the way you have the option to stop at a local winery and taste the local wines.

Riding downsteam you will cross over Eiffel bridge to finally enter in the city of  Viana do Castelo.

Leaving the city of Viana do Castelo behind you ride along the Portuguese Atlantic Coast.
On the way you can visit windmills, iron salt pants from roman times and fisherman villages.

The geology along the coast is very diverse and interesting this is why the area is candiate to UNESCO Geopark.

You can make a break in Vila Praia de Âncora to taste the fresh fish in local restaurants.

Afterwards you will ride through a beautiful pine forest to reach Caminha and then you ride on the banks of Minho river to arrive at Vila Nova de Cerveira.

Leaving Vila Nova de Cerveira you cross the border to reach Galicia region in Spain.
Once in Galicia you ride on the banks of Minho river towards the sea porto of A Guarda.

From A Guarda you enjoy a beautiful route along the Galican coastline to reach your accommodation in Oia.

In Galicia you ride through some vineyards to reach the city of A Guarda.

A ride on the beautiful Spanish coastline, the green Galicia!

The route is varied and the ocean will be always on your left side.
On the way you can see some fortifications, fisherman villages and light houses.

The route is part of the Portuguese Coastal way  / Camino to Santiago de Cospostela, so you may see some pilgrims on their own way.

You end the day on the medieval city of Baiona.

Baiona was the first port in Europe to know about the discovery of America.
On March 1st, 1493, Caravel La Pinta ship, commanded by Martín Alonso Pinzón, arrived in this port.
For the 5th Centenary of the Discovery commemorations a replica of the ship was built.
The replica is moored in a dock in the bay and it can be visited.

In 1999 the small museum inside the caravel was reorganised and enriched with all the items belonging to the Columbian times -from Christian to Taino cultures.
