We offer a private tour to explore Peneda-Gerês National Park, the only National Park in Portugal.
You will discover two hidden villages (Soajo and Lindoso) inside of National Park.
This is a combination of nature, hiking and culture.
9:00 a.m or 10:00 a.m - pick up from your hotel in Porto, Braga or other location;
We will arrive in Soajo, a secret mountain village in the heart of Peneda Gerês National Park.
In Soajo we will follow the walking trail "Paths of Bread and Faith" during this hike we will show you the Soajo watermills and the old shepherd shelters in the Soajo mountain.
We finish the hike by a lagoon, where you can relax and swim before a picnic lunch with local.
After picnic we leave Soajo and we drive along a scenic road to the other side of the Lima valley, stopping briefly to peer over the Alto Lindoso Dam.
After crossing the dam we will arrive in Lindoso.
Lindoso boasts an impressive castle dating back to the 13th century, overlooking the border with Spain and the valley of the Lima river. From its ramparts you can get a fine view of the sixty granaries from the 18th century (espigueiros) clustered under its protection.
At Lindoso you have the option to explore Serra Amarela on foot (+ 7 km)
After spending time to explore Lindoso we drive back to your hotel.

Easy hike - 5 km walking trail in Soajo and a detour in Lindoso (1 km)
Moderate hike – 5 km walking trail in Soajo + 7 km walking trail in Serra Amarela that combines the discovery of Lindoso village and some secret lagoons in the mountains.

Swimsuit, towel, hat, sunscreen, comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers and camera (optional).
