This is a guided walking tour in Sistelo, the little Portuguese Tibet!
Sistelo is a mountain village located at the entrance to Peneda Geres National Park and it is a hidden Gem in Arcos de Valdevez (North of Portugal).
During this tour you will explore some centuries-old shepherd shelters in the mountains and many terraced fields, where some of the inhabitants draw sustenance from their typically rural life.
The gougeous views from the top of the mountains, the variety of landscapes and the Cachena cattle are some of the highlights on this tour!
At the end of the hike if you want to explore more, we can offer a circular hike near the Vez river hiking on beautiful wooden boardwalk Sistelo Walkway Ecovia do rio Vez (+ 1km).
