This is a circular tour that starts and end in Ponte de Lima, the oldest town in Portugal.
You will ride through the vineyards of the Lima Valley and you can stop to enjoy the picturesque landscape and take many photos.
During the tour you will enjoy the experience of riding on the banks of the Lima river and you will learn about nature and local history.
Ponte de Lima is known by a very special kind of wine, called Loureiro, nowadays widely disseminated throughout the Vinho Verde region.
The Loureiro grape originated in the Lima Valley and its name derives from the name of the laurel bush. The scent and flavor of this grape is indeed reminiscent of laurel.
Near the end of the tour you will visit a local winery where you can learn much more about green wine and you will taste a white and a red Vinho Verde (green wine).
